GIMP 2.8 Tutorial - Easy Art

This is a tutorial on an easy way to create a color pencil effect.

1. Duplicate the image layer
2. Select the first (top) layer and then go to Filters --> Distorts -->
   Emboss... and try using the default values.
3. Select the first (top) layer and change the layer mode to Dodge.
4. Select the second (bottom) layer and adjust the brightness and 
   contrast as needed.
