This may sound odd, but it may be somewhat possible to use LoveDOS to
create a graphical user interface (GUI) to run EXE's since the following
works:

    function love.load()
        os.execute("PLATFORM.BAT")
    end
    
...however, I have not been able to get BAT files to do anything.
Unfortunately, you do have to have CWSDMPI and will probably end-up 
needing 14MB or more of RAM just to run the GUI, to which many would 
perhaps prefer Windows 3.11 or W95 with Visual Basic to create GUI's at
that point.
