If you are in a terminal, may I suggest using 'w3m' + 'mpv'? You should be able to play videos with mpv as long as there's a supported embedded video somewhere one the page. Either set your w3m's external browser setting to use mpv or use SHIFT+u to get URL and then use 'mpv /the/URL/path'.

If you have enough time to read this, then you may want to consider using one of the following alternatives:

• Archive.org
• BitChute
• Vimeo

I know redirects are annoying, but this was done just in case I wanted to change websites without having to edit every single HTML.
