- ffmpeg v2.6.1-1 - install using Cydia; use 'ffmpeg' in a terminal app to convert audio/video files
- FL Studio HD v2.4 or FL Studio Mobile v3.1.13 - the mobile version of a digital audio workstation that used to be known as "Fruity Loops"; unlike GarageBand, FL Studio has MIDI export; while the newer version is MUCH better, version 2.4 is compatible with "FL Studio Producer Edition 11" for Windows XP, which also runs well under WINE
- GarageBand (Mobile) v1.3 - a digital audio workstation by Apple; this version is compatible with GarageBand 6.0.5 listed above
- Pianist Pro v1.7 - play and record; keys are labeled; has drum backing-track and arpeggio capability; you can also set the keys to only display those within a key and scale; save your work as a MIDI file or export to audio
- VLC v3.3.12 - a free and open-source multimedia player with far greater file-format support than the default apps; use this to avoid iTunes
